The State of Texas has partnered with the City of Laredo and Webb County to provide free COVID-19 testing to residents of Webb County. Residents can test whether they show symptoms or not. Only one person per household may be tested. If a person is positive, the city and state will conduct contact tracing investigations to further test those who have been exposed. Test results will be available within 24-48 hours.

Those who want to be tested must register with the information as it appears on their government-issued I.D. and bring that same I.D. to their appointment. Residents can register up to 24 hours in advance, either online at or by phone at (512) 883-2400.
